Awards to Celebrate Outstanding Contributions to RDA in the Previous Year

Presented annually, these prestigious Awards recognise outstanding contributions to RDA in the previous year by volunteers working in any capacity. For example, the contribution may be organisation of a special event, dedication, reliability, positive attitude, or something else that the nominator feels worthy of recognition.

Anybody connected with RDA – riders, drivers, vaulters, parents, carers, teachers, volunteers and supporters – may submit nominations.

Thank you to everybody who sent in nominations for the 2011 Regional and National Awards - both have now been judged.

Regional Winners will be presented with trophies at an event in their own region and further information about Regional Winners can be obtained from your Regional Chairman. The RDA National Volunteer of the Year 2011 and two finalists, who were selected by an independent panel of judges from all the Regional Winners, were presented with their trophies at the RDA National AGM in November.

For Outstanding Service to RDA during 2009

An independent panel of judges chose the Winner and Runners-up from the Regional Winners.

• Finalists: David Mills, The Shelley Centre and Christine Humble, Blairgowrie RDA Group

Clare Balding presented the trophies amid enthusiastic applause at the 2010 Annual General Meeting at Saddlers' Hall on 12 November 2010.
