My Riders are interested in competing in either Dressage or RDA Horse/Pony and Rider classes at the championships. How do they qualify?
Answer
Riders need to qualify through a Regional Qualifier Competition (see individual discipline rules for further details)

Our Group rides at a Riding School and we are therefore unable to transport the horses at the weekend can our Riders still take part in the Championships?
Answer
Yes. They can enter the Arts and Crafts Competition.
Question
We don’t have any Riders competing are we still able to attend?
Answer
Yes you are to attend and as this is a recognised RDA event, why not hire a mini bus to bring along instructors, riders, carers and parents to see what the Championships are all about.

We don’t live nearby a Classifying Physiotherapist and we have several of Riders who need to be profiled will this service be available?
Answer
Yes we have several Classifying Physiotherapist attending on both days please contact the Championship Secretary to book a place.

Our group lives a distance from the College where shall we stay?
Answer
There is accommodation available at the College on a first come first served basis and there is reasonably priced accommodation locally.

I am coming with my group but I would like to camp can I do this at the College?
Answer
Yes you can but you will need to advise the Championships Secretary of your intention to camp and how many people are staying and what meals they require.

What meal arrangements are available?
Answer
Meals can be booked for the Refectory at Hartpury College, there will be outside catering facilities and also some nearby pubs.

What date do I need to get my entries in by for Dressage and RDA Horse/Pony and Rider Classes?

2 weeks after the date of your Regional Qualifier

What mounting facilities will be available?
Answer
In the main stable yard there is a static brick built mounting block (with wheelchair access), a wheelchair access ramp on the RDA Horse/Pony and Rider Arena and mounting blocks located outside the Dressage Arenas and other key points.

We are only bringing one Rider and one Horse will there be help for us?
Answer
There will be a team of stable staff on hand to give help. Smaller groups are stabled together to make the experience enjoyable.
