RDA Privacy Policy
Introduction
Riding for the Disabled Association Incorporating Carriage Driving (RDA) respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at RDA’s Web site.
Part I. Information Collection
RDA collects information through our Web site at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors: E-mail Address, Title, Firstname, Surname, Address, Phone Number.
We may also collect e-mail addresses which our users divulge about other people, for referral purposes
We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information such as: how users arrived at our site, information about user’s browsers, the length visits and the pages visited. This information is collected so that we can enhance our user experience and it is not linked to your personal information.
We collect this information through such as registration forms, clickstream tracking and automatic logging files. The information is collected voluntarily for any information which might identify you and involuntary for any information which does not identify you. To receive our products and services, registration including your personal details is mandatory because as and RDA member, we need to collect certain details according to RDA policy. Other information we request is optional.
We do employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable RDA to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. Our cookies do have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information and are implemented only to enhance your experience.
Part II. Information Usage.
The information collected by RDA will be used for enhancing our communication and level of service. Registered users may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and newsletters if they choose to opt-in to such mailings. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.
The information we collect will not be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history. We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources other than our internal databases.
We will not share data with third parties.
We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.
Our Web site will in future months offer chats, forums and message boards. Please be advised that information posted in these venues becomes public knowledge.
If our policy on information collection or uses changes, will advise you by e-mail and by notice on our website.
Part III. Access to Information
Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find or edit their details online. Users may delete their information from our database by contacting us. Note that any user who requests their records be deleted will no longer have access to our Members section.
Part IV. Problem Resolution
If problems arise, users may contact RDA via e-mail, phone, fax or post. We are committed to resolving disputes as soon and quickly as is possible.
Part V. Data Storage and Security
Our data is stored on our web server (provided by Re-Invent) and it is protected through their security systems. We may also occasionally download and backup information and this will be stored securely and away from public access. Any passwords which are stored are encrypted to protect privacy.
We do not store any credit / debit card or finanical information other than the donation amount when a donation is made.
