Pat Straughan Medals
Introduction to Dressage
The Pat Straughan Medal will be awarded to the highest placed Rider in the Unled section of the Introduction to Dressage who has not previously competed in this class at the RDA National Championships.
The Pat Straughan Medal of Commendation
The Pat Straughan Medal of Commendation is in addition to the medal awarded to the Introduction of Dressage Class. The medal is awarded annually to a rider that has shown outstanding courage and determination to preserve and meet the challenges to ride and that has endeavoured to compete in RDA Dressage Competitions.
Each group may nominate one rider annually for this award. Nominations must be submitted on the official nomination form only. No additional evidence will be allowed.
